We attended for about 4-5 hours in total but were not able, in that time, to view all of the exhibits and take all of the experiences. We found it somewhat hard to figure out how to access the tram tours but in the end had no problems by deciding to attend at 10:00 a.m. At the Space Center the scale of NASA spacecraft can be gained by viewing a Saturn V rocket and entering both a shuttle replica and a real shuttle carrier aircraft. It was less expensive to buy the membership, and use it twice for parking and twice for entry into the Center. In the circumstance, because we were making two visits, it made sense to purchase a membership. We were in Nassau Bay for a 24-hour period and visited Space Center Houston at the end of the day on a Monday and then on Tuesday morning. We understand that the actual quote was "okay, Houston, we've had a problem here" but in any event, we enjoyed taking the tram tour from Space Center Houston to the Johnson Space Center to see the historic Mission Control room for the Gemini and Apollo missions. ![]()
